Music Video Production Rates

$25.00 per Clip/edit (Minimum: 10 Clips/edits)

Rate for one song Music Video shot in HD at any one location within Vancouver area or on our Green Screen Set with the artist lip syncing or performing live.

Here are the details…

HD Video recording a one song music video at one location, within Vancouver area or on our Green Screen Set with (10) clips or more. We will shoot the video in 3 takes (3 times) to capture multiple performance angles and the clip scenes needed will be shot at the same location.

The format for this Music Video is lip-sync style so we will not use audio equipment and no Sound Person would be required.

If the performance is shot at a live gig where playing the song three times in a row is inappropriate, three different songs in row can be shot and one used for the Music Video. The other two songs can be stored in our archives and used for a future release if desired with clips added to them for $25.00 per clip. This type of Music Video generally requires a line level out feed from your board to our sound person if everything is mic-ed. Otherwise an open mic shoot will be necessary with your overall volume possibly affecting the sound quality. Open Mic shoots have been very successful in the past, requiring no sound person but it can't be guaranteed.

Video recording of an entire set

We can shoot an entire set can be shot at a live performance (up to 45 minutes) for $350. For this recording format, we require a line level out feed from your sound board to our sound person if everything is miked. Otherwise an open microphone shoot will be necessary with your overall volume possibly affecting the sound quality. Open Microphone shots require no sound person and the quality cannot be guaranteed.

Sound Person Rates

If you require a sound person for the video recording, we charge an additional $125.00 per shoot. We charge extra fees if the location is out of the Vancouver Lowermainland area (ie. Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, Surrey, Coquitlam area.)

Extra Location Fees

Extra Locations within Vancouver are $100.00 per extra location.

Location Scouting and Booking Fee

$40.00 per Location plus Rent (rent is for permission to film on private property.) In some cases, if the location is a business, the business owner may waive the location rental fee for the shoot if you do placement advertising for his/her company in the music video. This will need to be negotiated by you and the owner of the property. We need you to provide us with a location release form signed by the property owner prior to us filming on location.

NOTE: A 50% Non-Refundable Deposit is Required to book a Music Video shoot with the remaining balance due on the shoot date prior to the video recording session.Live audio will require a sound person at an extra cost. You have the option to record your own sound if you can provide a CD recording of the performance.Extra Locations $100 each.Extra Camera Fee If Requested....$150.00.Shoot Locations outside the Vancouver Lowermainland area are $300 per day for Travel and shooting, plus all expenses for travel, food and lodging for our film crew.You have the option to scout and book your own Locations if you prefer. You must provide us with a signed location release form which proves to us that the property owner has given you permission to film on his property.You have the option to bring in your own talent if you like. Prices above are based on the fact that ANY music video(s) shot by us can be shown on any Sababa Emporium website or web channel or portfolio marketing media, otherwise prices are "Doubled" for their lack of air-ability. Ownership of a music video with a signed artist release form (see link below) are co-owned by the artist(s) and SABABA EMPORIUM MULTIMEDIA AND PRODUCTION SERVICES INC. and can be used on any of yours and/or our projects freely.
